execution? Look no further! Our growing design firm is seeking an enthusiastic intern to contribute to
our exciting projects. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both
interior design and project management. This is a part time position in office located in Scottsdale, AZ.

What You’ll Do:
As an Interior Design and Project Management Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our creative process.
Here’s what your role will entail:
1. Conceptual Development: Collaborate with our experienced professionals to develop well
thought out interior design ideas and mood boards for client presentations.
2. Technical Skills: Create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models. Design construction drawings
creation may include floor plans, elevation, and furniture layouts.
3. Document Creation: Assist with the creation of documents which may include spec packets, SD
packets, DD packets and FF&E schedules, among others.
4. Material Selection: Source and select materials, finishes, and furnishings that are in line with the
design concept and budget parameters.
5. Client and Contractor Interaction: Participate in client and construction partner meetings and
presentations to discuss design concepts, materials, revisions, and project updates. Meetings
may take place in office, on job site or at trade shows.
6. Vendor Coordination: Work closely with vendors and contractors to obtain quotes, order
samples, and coordinate deliveries for materials, furniture and furnishings. Maintain records for
all orders and deliveries.
7. On-Site Installation: Assist with installation of materials, furniture and furnishings on-site and
ensure the design is achieved according to the design plan and to the client’s satisfaction.
8. Marketing Activities: Travel to attend networking meetings, events and trade shows locally and
out of state.
9. Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Interior design,
Construction management, Architecture, or a related degree required.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, In Design and SketchUp.
Knowledge of 2020.
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
Excellent communication (spoken and written) and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of short-term rental design a plus.
Prior design and/or project management experience a plus.
Strong willingness to learn engage in our design projects is essential.
