If you are a college student studying CAD, apply now for an exciting student internship in our Meridian, Idaho office. This is a part-time position expected to work 12-16 hours per week.

Job Summary:

As a member of the Keller Associates team, you will collaborate with other engineers and technical experts to provide meaningful, innovative solutions to the infrastructure challenges facing growing communities. On any given day, you can expect to work in water and wastewater, civil/site, stormwater, transportation, and other disciplines. You will have the chance to work closely with CAD Technicians and Designers of numerous specialties and abilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble construction drawings using Civil 3D or Revit
• Gather information for project design decisions
• Recognize design conflicts and work with the team to resolve issues
• Work with multiple engineering disciplines and professionals in project coordination under the direction of a senior CAD Designer
• Conform to appropriate company CAD standards or client standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of working as part of a team or independently
• Demonstrates a strong knowledge Civil 3D or Revit
• Can provide a portfolio of work that demonstrates applications of the software
• Familiar with other software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and Bluebeam

Education and Experience:

• Currently enrolled and has completed one year towards an associated degree in a computer aided drafting program
