Johnson Creek Village in Dover, NH is currently seeking experienced caregivers to become medication certified by our in-house nurse trainer for all three shifts (7 am-3 pm, 3-11 pm, and 11 pm-7 am). The 11-7 overnight shift comes with a $3/hr shift differential.

We are actively recruiting new team members with a passion for kind and compassionate care. JCV is seeking dedicated and dependable individuals who enjoy working with the elderly population and who are comfortable with dementia & Alzheimer's related disorders. Our staff strives to work collaboratively as a team and aim to foster an environment of support and growth. Our management team is led by licensed nursing staff certified to provide on-site training. Additional training is available, including dementia training and more. Salary is based on experience and subject to increase with additional certifications or licensure.

Job Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic care principles and techniques
• Experience providing patient care in a healthcare setting is preferred, but willing to train the right individuals
• Familiarity with infection control practices
• The ability to operate and assist with medical devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, electric hospital beds, hearing aids, dentures, etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and families

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide thorough, compassionate, high-quality patient care under the delegation and direct supervision of JCV’s Registered Nurse.
• Assist residents with ADL’s including bathing/grooming, dressing, ambulation & transfers, incontinence care, and feeding.
• Ability to monitor and records vital signs & weight
• Administer medications according to best practice, certification, & scope of practice.
• Maintain a clean and organized resident environment
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other health professionals while adhering to professional standards.
