The Clinical Research Coordinator will work closely with Dr. Theresa Williamson on research projects related to the Neurotech Justice Accelerator at Mass General Brigham (NJAM), in the Department of Neurosurgery. Responsibilities include literature reviews, manuscript drafting, IRB submissions, communication regarding research projects, maintaining databases, data analysis, conducting interviews/focus groups, and manuscript preparation. The role offers visibility and authorship on published manuscripts.
Preferred experience includes medical, ethics, or legal research and participant interaction. Candidates should be comfortable working with diverse populations, handling sensitive information, and familiar with research methods, study design, and evaluation. Strong analytical skills are essential.
Proficiency in research-related computer programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Photoshop, and Adobe is required. Familiarity with REDCap is essential. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail are critical. The ability to take initiative and troubleshoot is also necessary.
Following policies, procedures, and study protocols, the role involves recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients for studies, collecting and organizing data, scheduling visits, performing clinical tests, and maintaining study data. Candidates completing their bachelors degree have a six-month grace period (up to one year for per diem hires) to verify degree equivalency.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Science required. Experience in research projects (0-1 year) preferred. Experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
