Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to ensure that construction occurs according to schedule, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. This position requires excellent time management and computer skills as well as extensive knowledge of commercial construction. Procore, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, Excel, Word, and Outlook are some of the software programs we use.
Duties & Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Study plans and specifications, bid proposal, quotes and buyout to verify and signoff on scopes of work.
Work closely with internal Project Engineer from job packaging though closeout.
Review, approve, distribute submittals and ensure project documents are complete.
Prepare project work schedule and keep updated.
Coordinate with architect to handle change orders, RFIs, and other issues as they arise.
Periodically visit the job site to view progress in the field and coordinate with Job Superintendent to ensure they have what they need. View and changing conditions that warrant RFI or additional work orders.
Obtain quotes and additional pricing needed to issue Prime and Sub Change Orders.
Review rough draft pay apps to verify billings correspond to work complete in the field.
Plan, organize, and lead project meeting with Owner, Architect, Subcontractors, and Job Superintendent..
Distribute and follow-up on punch list.
Participate in office staff meeting, project planning and handoff meetings, pre-con and post-construction meets.
Assist Estimator on bid day and act as bid runner when needed.
