Data Analyst at SPECTRUM summary:

The Data Analyst role at Spectrum involves managing and analyzing data to support business planning and customer operations across a 41-state area. Responsibilities include data integration, report generation, data quality improvements, and delivering insights to management to enhance operational efficiency. Candidates should have experience with SQL, Microsoft applications, and preferably skills in Python, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

It works with the business to improve the way the business runs and in turn, ensures a positive customer experience. By providing business leaders with the financial and operational insights they need, this team plays a vital role in delivering the exceptional services and experiences Spectrum is known for.

As a Data Analyst , you’ll manage specific data and reporting to better assist management in maximizing resources in various departments or lines of business.

WHAT OUR DATA ANALYSTS ENJOY MOST

  • Conducting data analysis in support of analytic solutions
  • Capturing, developing, and documenting data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements
  • Integrating data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements
  • Developing reports and deliverables for management and communicating with all levels of stakeholders
  • Identifying and defining data quality improvements
  • Creating and maintaining report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources
  • Ensuring compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis

On a typical day you’ll be responsible for producing, reports, ad hoc requests, and dashboards to provide insights in determining operational impact, trends, and opportunities. If you prioritize and organize effectively and enjoy analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data, this could be the role for you. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience : Data analysis and reporting or related experience: 2 years or more
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
  • Technical skills : Demonstrated knowledge of SQL; knowledge of Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Abilities : Work independently, as well as in a collaborative team environment; quickly identify business problems & opportunities; manage multiple projects simultaneously; effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hybrid Schedule : Four in-office days weekly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of regression and statistical analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and modeling.
  • Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
