We are seeking an adaptable, diligent and detail-oriented individual with Medical Office Administration or similar healthcare experience to join our team as a data entry expert.

Responsibilities

• Input patient information into excel sheets for processing by the software development (technical) team.
• Adhere to high standards of data security and privacy. (Training provided).
• Work closely with the clinical and software development (technical) teams to ensure accurate, efficient and timely data entry into the software system.
• Work with clinical staff and clinic electronic medical record software (Accuro) to access patient records.
• Provide feedback and work collaboratively with the technical team to continually improve the efficiency of the data loading process.
• Verify loaded information in coordination with the supervising nurse.
• Support the physicians, nurses and any clinical staff who are implementing/piloting the software. Assist them in use and respond to their questions where possible.
• Provide feedback and insights to the development team regarding the usability and accuracy of the software from a clinical perspective.

Requirements

• Medical Office Administration or equivalent healthcare experience
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and an ability to learn more precise, disease-specific terms
• Strong familiarity and general understanding of medical clinic and healthcare setting
• High level of comfort with technology, technological systems and software
• Ability to assist physicians and clinicians in using software systems
• Excel/CSV strong beginner or intermediate knowledge, with an ability to learn and implement new skills within Excel
• Stamina of focus and attention to detail; the charts require precise data entry practices to be accurate.
