Responsibilities: Provide Drupal development, programming, and configuration on custom application build and support engagements as well as deploying releases to production, testing and troubleshooting Drupal website issues Keep informed on Drupal development best practices and coding standards Provide timely feedback to Project Managers, Drupal Architects, and project team on the status of assigned tasks Unit test assigned features to ensure proper functionality, both backend and frontend, prior to committing to the development branch pull request Analyze specifications and configure Drupal features that function within the specified scope Implement Drupal refactoring and optimization Support design and code reviews Offer technical solutions to customers and Lead Drupal Architect when unforeseen challenges occur during development sprints Update Drupal sites to keep them secure and compliant with latest standards Work across the software life cycle, with an emphasis on development Work with other developers and team members to create an effective user experience Attend meetings to discuss status of assigned deliverables and communicate estimates and changes in scope/estimation · Provide technical writing and expertise for ongoing documentation, such as As Built, network diagrams, ATO documentation, etc. Qualifications: US Citizen or green card holder. Ability to obtain a Public Trust. Bachelor's degree in technical discipline, or a related field (7-10 years of relevant work experience may also be used in lieu of a college degree) and a minimum of 8 years of Drupal development experience Experience with Drupal versions 8, 9, or 10 Must be a current Acquia Certified Drupal i.e., Acquia Certified Drupal Developer, Acquia Certified Drupal Back End Specialist, or Acquia Certified Drupal Front End Specialist (submit evidence with application) Must be eager and passionate about Drupal community involvement and open source (must be able to provide drupal.org id) Experience with Drupal backend development, module development, content and data migration, and configuration management.
