Electric Motor Mechanic
Location: Denver, CO
Pay Range: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electric Motor Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in repairing a variety of motors and other electro-mechanical equipment. This position involves diagnosing issues, disassembling and reassembling machinery, performing precise repairs, and ensuring operational reliability through testing.
Primary Responsibilities:
Read and interpret job cards to determine work scope, limitations, estimates, and repair needs.
Troubleshoot and test electro-mechanical equipment to identify issues using a variety of methods and tools.
Disassemble motors and other equipment, documenting parts condition and layout.
Clean assemblies using appropriate methods such as steamers, parts washers, caustic tanks, and glass beaders.
Identify and request proper replacement parts with supervisor approval.
Repair or replace worn or faulty components including bearings, gears, brushes, seals, impellers, motor leads, and mechanical switches.
Reassemble and retest equipment to confirm functionality and performance standards.
Accurately complete required documentation and paperwork for each job.
Operate repair and testing equipment safely and effectively.
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE (eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
Assist other shop staff in both skilled and general labor duties as needed.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electro-mechanical or electric motor repair field.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and retain safety and operational procedures.
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment safely.
Team player with a positive attitude and solid communication skills.
