Job Summary: 360 Eats, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing food waste and combating hunger in Pinellas County, FL, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Volunteer Fundraising Consultant. This volunteer position requires a commitment of approximately 10-20 hours per month and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies that will support our programs and mission. Responsibilities: Develop Fundraising Strategies: Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board to create comprehensive fundraising plans, including annual campaigns, major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and special events. Donor Cultivation and Stewardship: Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners. Ensure effective stewardship of existing donors through regular communication and engagement activities. Prospect Research: Conduct research to identify potential individual, corporate, and foundation donors. Board Development: Provide guidance and training to the Board of Directors on fundraising best practices and strategies. Marketing and Communications: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling fundraising materials and campaigns. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of donor information and fundraising activities using our donor management system. Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience in fundraising, development, or a related field within the nonprofit sector. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive and compelling fundraising messages. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners. Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative fundraising strategies. Passion for Mission: A strong commitment to the mission of 360 Eats and a passion for addressing food waste and food insecurity.
