Job Description

We are very excited about our 2025 Internship Program at TopBuild! This program is managed by our corporate office in Daytona Beach, FL, spans over 12 weeks and typically begins around mid-May and runs through early August. It is based on a 40-hour paid work week.

Summary:

As an HR Intern at TopBuild, you will be an integral part of our Human Resources Talent team, assisting in various recruiting and talent acquisition initiatives. This position offers hands-on experience in talent acquisition, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Learn, compile, and test recruiting processes that have been identified as areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with the recruiting team and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) to ensure updates and enhancements are effectively implemented.
  • Collaborate on employer branding initiatives to consistently reflect our brand, culture, benefits, etc.
  • Assist in developing recruitment marketing materials as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, working towards a Bachelors in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources or related fields
  • Attention to detail
  • Asks pointed questions to help gain an understanding of assignments and the business
  • Professional and proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple, concurrent assignments Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Professional, positive, courteous demeanor
  • Permanent legal right to work in the U.S.
  • The ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time. Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
