We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Summer Intern to join our HR team for the summer. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience and exposure to core HR functions, including service delivery, onboarding processes, HRIS (Human Resources Information System) management, colleague relations, healthcare recruiting and workflows, and the opportunity to network with HR professionals. The ideal candidate is HR-oriented, eager to learn, adaptable, and excited to contribute to meaningful HR projects that impact our organization. This position is remote with a chance of in-person meet ups with HR personnel. Must be located in EDT or CDT, Greater Philadelphia region highly preferred.

You will assist with:
Service Delivery:
Support the HR team in responding to employee inquiries related to policies, procedures, and benefits.
Assist in maintaining accurate employee records and help ensure timely resolution of HR-related issues.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR service delivery processes and documentation.
Onboarding:
Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires including document collection, orientation scheduling, and system setup.
Support the development and delivery of new hire orientation materials.
Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new employees.
HRIS Management:
Assist in maintaining and updating employee data in the HRIS system.
Generate reports and perform data audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Support HRIS projects and initiatives, including process documentation and system improvements.
Healthcare Recruiting:
Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to source candidates for healthcare-related roles.
Screen resumes, perform prescreening interviews, schedule practice interviews, and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Help maintain recruiting pipelines and track metrics in applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Colleague Relations:
Assist the Employee Relations Partner in managing and documenting employee concerns and workplace issues.
Support Employee Relations case tracking and maintenance of confidential records.
Participate in drafting communications, summaries, and documentation related to ER investigations.
Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all ER-related matters.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS or ATS is a plus.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Quick-learner and able to work independently.
Note: This position is temporary, full time with no benefit eligibility.
