General Job Description
The Resiliency Coach is an experienced professional who provides wellness learning for Breakthrough Miami Teaching Fellows and Scholars throughout the summer. The Resiliency Coach manages the Scholar Success Plans and advisory programming, working with all Teaching Fellows at the site to promote Scholar growth, academic success, and overall well-being. This role includes leading meetings, observing Teaching Fellows’ advisory sessions at least once a week, evaluating advisory plans and individual Scholar check-ins, and meeting individually with Teaching Fellows to provide constant feedback and support. The Resiliency Coach also serves as the site counselor, working directly with Scholars to support their development. In collaboration with the Lead Resiliency Coach and Site Directors, the Resiliency Coach is accountable for the fidelity, rigor, and consistency of the Resiliency programming and is responsible for supporting BTM Teaching Fellows through their advising experiences while ensuring Scholars receive high-quality support.

Dates and Times:
Prior to Summer Program: A few hours a week in May, as needed
Required Staff Training: May 10 and 17, 2026, 9am-3pm
Start Date: June 6, 2026
Teaching Fellow Orientation: June 6-June 12, 2026, 8am-5pm
Summer Program: June 15-July 24, 2026, 8am-3pm (may start earlier depending on site schedule)
Evaluation Week: July 27-July 31, 2026, As needed
Compensation – $4,500 stipend (paid over three pay periods)
