The Main Responsibilities

Lumen’s Enterprise Operations organization is looking for a Data Analyst intern on our Service Delivery team. The intern will be responsible for identifying key areas of improvement in our service delivery org and supplying improvement plans to leadership. This role will focus heavily on the design and capacity resolution areas of service delivery.
Other responsibilities of intern will include:
• Evaluate and identify areas of opportunity in service delivery workflow.
• Focus on analytics and identifying process and automation requirements to streamline end-to-end service delivery and customer data management.
• Support the team leads in reporting, analytics, and day-to-day work to ensure proper tracking of tasks in the queue.
• Assist in prioritizing work based on analysis to inform leadership of high versus low priority tasks.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate’s commitment of the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.

• Required qualifications
o Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior or graduate level education status at the start of the internship
o Graduating August 2025 – May 2027
o Preferred fields include bur not limited to: – Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems. 
o Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 – August 8, 2025)

• Proficiency and understanding of:
o MS Office Suite – Excel heavy
o Data Report and Dashboard like PowerBI
o Bira
o Data Management experience
o SQL and/or Oracle experience is nice to have 

• Preferred qualifications
o Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights 
o Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools is a plus. 
o Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and development. 
o Ability to translate technical information into non-technical terms
o Driven by curiosity in problem solving
o Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues related to data 
o Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
o Strong organization skills
o Ability to multitask while working in fast paced environment 
o Comfortability interacting and presenting to leadership

Compensation

Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual’s level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.

Hourly Based Pay Range:
Min: $26.00/hour
Max: $43.00/hour
