Pharmacy Technician Sterile Compounding (TPN)
Location: Elk Grove, CA (Greater Sacramento Area)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (some flexibility may be required)
Duration: 13-week contract with potential to convert to permanent hire
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $25+ / hr
A leading specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a contract opportunity in their Elk Grove, CA facility. This site specializes in total parenteral nutrition (TPN) compounding and serves patients nationwide.
Perform sterile compounding of TPNs in a cleanroom environment
Follow all USP <797> and <800> guidelines
Operate within CPR+ pharmacy software system (highly preferred)
Maintain accuracy and compliance in preparation, labeling, and documentation
Collaborate closely with pharmacists and other technicians to ensure timely and safe delivery of patient-specific prescriptions
Active California Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
Strong experience in sterile compounding , specifically TPNs this is a must
CPR+ system experience is strongly preferred
PTCB certification is highly preferred
High attention to detail, excellent aseptic technique, and ability to work independently
Signed contract and approved credit
Potential for contract-to-hire based on performance and business need
Growing company with expanding hourssome schedule flexibility may be required
