Unified Personnel is looking for Industrial Journeyman Electricians

Experienced in EC CODE Hospital construction standards

Must have current TDLR Electrical Journeyman License

Required Language: Must be able to speak English or be Bilingual

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Texas TDLR Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in bending and running RIGID & EMT pipe and have a strong background in electrical work within medical facilities. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Electrical Installation: Install, bend, and run RIGID conduit and related electrical systems in commercial and medical facility settings.
• Medical Facility Expertise: Work within medical facilities, ensuring that all electrical work meets the strict safety and compliance regulations associated with healthcare environments.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations and repairs.
• Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including but not limited to circuits, wiring, outlets, lighting, and control systems.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations meet the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and regulations, especially in sensitive environments like medical facilities.
• Safety and Best Practices: Adhere to all safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. Properly identify and resolve safety hazards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, contractors, and facility managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Equipment & Materials: Ensure tools and materials are used correctly and maintained properly. Order and manage inventory as needed for projects.
• Project Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the job. Ensure all necessary documentation for medical facilities' work is kept up to date.

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TDLR)
• Proficient in installing conduit, wiring, and electrical components.
• Experience in building and installing electrical cabinets and associated components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics.
• Skilled in using various electrical testing equipment for troubleshooting
