Junior Staff Accountant
Columbia, MD

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a recent grad or early-career professional ready to dive into the world of accounting? X8 is on the hunt for a dynamic, detail-oriented Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our growing team! In this exciting role, you'll play a key part in supporting our day-to-day accounting operations, with a focus on payroll processing and accounts payable.

As a key member of our team, you'll work directly with our Chief Financial Officer and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of accounting. This is your chance to develop your skills, take on responsibility, and make an impact from day one!

WHAT REQUIRED SKILLS YOU'LL BRING

Basic understanding of payroll processing.
Experience in accounts payable, reconciliations and month-end close outs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Eagerness to learn and grow with the company.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT

Due to federal contract regulations, this position requires applicants to be a U.S. citizen.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $55,000 + (depending on experience and education)
Time Off: 24 Days PTO and 13 Federal holidays
401K: up to 10% 401(k) contribution
Up to $5,000 continuing education reimbursement
Benefits: 100% medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance
