What you will do

Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. The Learning and Development team is seeking those who are ready to apply their skills in L&D and assist with early career programs in a fast-paced, real-world environment. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.  

How you will do it:

  • Summer 2025- possibility to stay additional time or repeat the following summer 

  • Tasked with multiple projects throughout the summer  

  • Attend provided enrichment/ development sessions   

  • Participate on the L&D team to gain additional knowledge in multiple areas, including early career programs 

Duration: This will be a full-time summer 2025 internship. 

What we look for

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university  

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Talent Development or similar 

  • Currently a Sophomore/Junior status  

  • Good Academic Standing 

  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.  

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred  

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills required
