Position Overview
In this position as a Landscape CAD Technician / Production Assistant, you will have
the opportunity to work as part of a team of designers and Landscape Architects on
multiple projects for a range of public and private sector clients. This is a great

Responsibilities and Duties
Use Knowledge of CAD and related skills to complete assigned tasks including
project set-up, file management, dimension and detail plans, quality assurance,
plotting and document assembly.
Work collaboratively with team to assist in CAD drafting and preparation of
construction plans, bid documents, and technical specifications, in a variety of landscape development projects.
Effectively communicate with other team members and adhere to company
standards.
Occasional field surveys for drawing development and site inventory may be
required.
Qualifications
Minimum two years of experience with AutoCAD and basic drafting
fundamentals in a professional capacity.
Ability to read site plans and elevations; minimum one year experience working
on projects with exposure to civil and architectural site plans.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Willingness to learn LandFX.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is a plus but not required.
Able to follow office CAD standards.
Cooperative skills in working professionally with a team as well as independently.
Expert time management with ability to rise to challenges to meet strict
deadlines.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail, along with the ability to prioritize
multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to responsibilities.
Experience with or interest in learning local horticulture.
Experience working in a Landscape Architectural or Civil Engineering Firm is a
plus, but not required.
Education and Experience
Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent
combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Position will primarily work in an office setting with some field work. This is not a remote
position.
