HEALTHCARE LASER TECHNICIAN

PINEHURST, NC

HEALTHCARE LASER TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure appropriate treatments and resources are effectively utilized.
  • Provide procedural support to hospitals, physicians, and ancillary staff as needed.
  • Maintain optimal functionality of laser equipment, prioritizing patient and staff safety without compromising treatment quality.
  • Handle, clean, and maintain laser fibers and instruments with precision, ensuring proper care pre- and post-procedure.
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource for physicians and staff regarding the use of laser technology.
  • Consistently perform at a high level to surpass company objectives and contribute to organizational success.
  • Complete and maintain all credentialing and D.O.T. training requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Leverage experience and sound judgment to establish and achieve goals effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Maintain and provide evidence of current CPR certification
  • Must be able to maintain 100% compliance with all credentialing requirements
  • Must be able to pass D.O.T. certification
  • May be required to possess a Commercial Driver’s License and must have a safe driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires considerable walking, standing, lifting and supporting patients
  • May be required to lift an excess of 50 pounds several times a day and push/pull equipment (on wheels) up to 700 pounds
  • Risk of occupational electric and radiation exposure
  • Ability to drive medium sized van/trucks and move/setup surgical technology and position patients for treatment
