RHC is a multi-purposed chiropractic clinic with exceptional care and a family type atmosphere. The doctor, front desk staff and massage therapists work together to provide comprehensive treatments for patients to allow them to live a better, healthier life. Our work is very fulfilling and most patients stay for years to continue their wellness care journey. The workplace environment is safe, positive, peaceful and of family atmosphere, everyone takes care of each other and the patients. Our therapists have an average of 8 years of service. The space is unique and recently upgraded with a home feel.

Job Responsibilities

The massage therapist position is about making an impact on people’s lives, by providing customized therapy treatments using your skills and knowledge while learning and delivering our easy to learn specific protocols from the doctor and other therapists. 

Working with our doctor and staff to provide the highest quality care for our patients is a key factor in the success of this office and of this position.

Qualifications

Recent massage school graduates are welcome if licensed in Virginia; Bonus points for previous massage, personal training and exercising experience; bonus points for knowledge or experience in myofascial release, trigger point, deep tissue, stretching techniques and sports massage. Compensation and bonuses are based on talent, volume of work and longevity in our clinic. We take care of our therapists!

Benefits & Schedule

Flexible schedule for our therapists especially over time, our therapists are part-time but there is enough work to do 30-40 therapies per week. 

Flexible (but must be consistent once established)

Are you available during our office hours? Mondays 9:30 am to 6 pm; Wednesdays 9:30 am to 7 pm; Thursdays 8:30 am to 7 pm; Fridays 8:30 am to 1 pm and Saturdays 8:30 am to 1 pm (twice per month)

Part time or full time (you choose)

W-2 employee (no contracts to sign)

$32-45 for each 50 minute session (minimum starting base pay recent graduates no experience-$32) plus tips. Tips and bonuses provided usually put our therapists in the top levels of pay per hour (our therapists make more per 50 minutes than most therapists make per hour). With tips most of our therapists make $40-75 per 50 minute session. Pay depends on talent, availability and experience. Open for discussion during the interview. (Important to note when comparing that sessions are 50 minutes max, so you are paid for each 50 minutes and that is more than if you were working for 60 min. like most employers)

Extra shifts: opportunity for additional income from extra shifts, especially when rooms are available or other therapists are on vacation or out of the office.

For our staff we have the six paid time off major holidays (New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas) as well as random days throughout the year where the doctor is out of the office.

Bonuses are given per paycheck and there is a big end of the year bonus based on volume of work throughout the year.
