CNC Machinist Shift: 2nd

Job Description

We are seeking Skilled Machinist with well-rounded skills in operating Mills, Lathes, and Grinders with machine set up experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers
• Begin in the Gear grinding department and transition based on work demands.
• Read and interpret blueprints, tooling instructions, and work instructions.
• Adaptability to work in various departments as needed.
• Responsible for documentation and quality inspection.
• Calculate dimensions, rotation speeds, feed rates, and machining times.
• Collaborate with supervisors, programmers, engineers, and support teams to resolve issues.
• Rotate between different department work centers as required.
• Load and unload component piece parts weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Utilize shop math skills effectively.

Essential Skills

• At least 4+ years of Machining experience.
• 2+ years of CNC set up experience
• Ability to perform quality inspections.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and basic shop math skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CNC set up experience is a plus.
• CNC schooling or certification is desirable.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
