Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Manufacturing Engineer / Production Supervisor to drive daily improvements across our production processes while ensuring that operational goals are met efficiently and safely. • Apply 2 second LEAN theory and real-world Lean applications experience to improve the flow of value to the customer.
  • \n
\n
Production Supervision:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production team activities to ensure safe, timely, and effective operations.
  • \n
  • Monitor and respond to production output, quality, and safety needs as they arise.
  • \n
  • Provide on-the-floor leadership, coaching, and practical support to operators and technicians.
  • \n
  • Manage shift schedules, labor allocation, and ensure material readiness.
  • \n
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues-including delays, equipment problems, or personnel challenges.
  • \n
  • Track key production metrics such as output, scrap, downtime, and productivity.
  • \n
  • Encourage daily 3S and sustained improvement of task flow, organization, and maintenance activities.
  • \n
\n
Qualifications:
    \n
  • \n Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, OR
  • \n
  • \n 10+ years of directly relevant manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.
  • \n
  • Minimum 3 years of successful experience as a project team leader in a production or manufacturing setting.
  • \n
  • Strong background in lean thinking, process improvement, and hands-on production systems.
  • \n
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, CAD software and manufacturing tools (e.g., PLCs, ERP systems) is preferred.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills.
  • \n
\n
Preferred Skills:
    \n
  • Extensive hands-on mechanical, electrical, or process troubleshooting experience .
  • \n

  • \n
  • Bilingual (i.e. English/Spanish) a plus.
  • \n
  • Experience setting up real world data collection and the performance of effective data analysis to focus on the best B4B improvements is highly desired.
  • \n
\n
Note: While Six Sigma certification is not required (nor especially relevant in our environment), experience with continuous, practical daily improvement is essential.
