$19.50/hr

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am - 4:30pm, OT on Fridays

Position Overview:

Candidate will provide materials support to multiple production lines via tug. Learn tug routes, pull parts from shelves to fill the tug and deliver parts to various production lines. During times that the tug in not in use, associate will assist materials areas where needed with material presentation responsibilities. Material Presenter responsibilities include generating pull lists within the Winman system and utilizing to pull required parts for the production line, Utilizing Winman to put parts away into their dedicated shelving locations, restocking IMS bins and work cell inventory.

General daily responsibilities also include supporting the Kanban system, 5s, and safety walks.

Ideal candidate must have experience with material presentation as it relates to one piece flow production. Experience related to Kanban system is desired. Prior computer experience is desired. Must be willing and able to drive a forklift, including certification. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be a self-starter and able to follow standardized work.

Required Skills:

• Detail oriented
• Self-directed with good interaction skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed for customer fulfillment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills:

• Winman experience
• Knowledge of the Kanban system
• Prior materials experience
• Knowledge of electrical prints such as panel layouts

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional training from vocational or trade school is a plus.
