Trueline's client, a legacy medical malpractice defense firm located in Uniondale, NY, is seeking a Medical Malpractice Attorney to join their team. What You'll Do as the Medical Malpractice Attorney:
Work collaboratively with senior litigators to develop litigation strategy for defending medical malpractice actions
Draft and review pleadings, discovery materials, memos, briefs, and other legal documents
Analyze medical records
Represent clients in court proceedings
Participate in depositions, conferences, hearings, and other litigation activities
Interact with medical experts
Conduct legal and medical research and analysis
Draft motions
Work cooperatively with colleagues
Interact with clients
You'll Succeed as the Medical Malpractice Attorney if you Have:
Admission to practice law in New York
3-5 years of experience in medical malpractice/healthcare litigation
Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact professionally with clients and earn their confidence
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Strong problem-solving skills
