This role requires you to report into our closed door pharmacy in Dublin, OH. Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions provides access to best practice strategies and tactics to control costs, improve workflow and enhance safety. The pharmacy technician is responsible for answering the telephone, handling calls from hospital staff and retail patients, and assisting pharmacists with order entry operations. Responsibilities include assisting Pharmacists and other Technicians with daily tasks, handling doctor calls and faxes, providing excellent customer service, working on projects as requested by Pharmacy Director, performing order entry as needed, and maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude at all times. Qualifications include a High School degree or equivalent, previous work experience in a hospital setting and/or retail pharmacy preferred, proven customer service skills, registration or licensure as required by the State Board of Pharmacy, national certification preferred, and 3+ years Pharmacy Technician experience preferred. The position requires working within a licensed pharmacy and not from home. Schedule is 7on/7off Thursday - Wednesday, 11:00am - 9:00pm with possible weekend hours. The role involves working under moderate supervision, adhering to quality guidelines, and applying acquired knowledge to complete standard tasks.
