JOB SUMMARY Job Profile Summary Coordinate the daily activities of security personnel; responsible for the development and continuous improvement of the physical security program. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Coordinate the daily activities of security personnel who provide physical security for all employees, guests and company property Develop and continually improve the physical security program Develop and regularly review security incident response procedures Respond to emergency situations such as threats of violence, bomb threats, fire alarms, medical emergencies or intrusion alarms, following emergency response procedures Must be knowledgeable and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures and internal control protocols Review and maintain incident reports Assist with security locally and remotely when needed Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols Education Bachelor's Degree in law enforcement preferred and/or five years of experience in law enforcement or physical security: Work Experience Experience interacting, directing, advising and communicating effectively Security, military or law enforcement related experience preferred Previous supervisory experience; working knowledge of personnel policies and procedures preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of: security operations and procedures Ability to: identify critical issues quickly, accurately and resolve in a timely manner Ability to: react well under pressure Ability to: maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances Ability to: think and act independently, possess strong reasoning and problem-solving skills and make sound and timely decisions Ability to: write routine correspondence, including logs and reports Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information or instructions Licenses and Certifications CPR/AED/First Aid Certification required Strength Factor Rating - Physical Demands/Requirements Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
