Collette is seeking a Product Management Intern. This is a hybrid role based at our headquarters in Pawtucket, RI for 40 hours per week.

The  Collette Intern Program is our best in class opportunity for college-level students who are looking to explore career paths and learn more about the travel industry, international business, corporate citizenship and Collette’s culture through a cohesive and centralized program experience. Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Management Intern to join our Technology team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management within the travel industry. The successful candidate will assist in managing the product roadmap, supporting technology transformation initiatives, and ensuring alignment with our stakeholders. As a Product Management Intern, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet internal customer needs and drive business growth. You will also assist in gathering and prioritizing customer problems, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering to produce products that deliver relevant business outcomes.

Primary Functions:

  • Assist in developing and communicating a clear product roadmap that aligns with business goals and priorities.
  • Support the implementation of major technology transformation initiatives.
  • Help prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it supports the product roadmap and addresses user and stakeholder needs effectively.
  • Assist in defining and monitoring key performance metrics to drive product decisions, while identifying areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate and communicate with department and business stakeholders to ensure successful product development and implementation.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Graduate degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in product management and technology.
  • Consumer mindset, always seeking to develop a better understanding of how users engage with a product and make decisions.
  • Ability to assess the quality of an existing user experience and make concrete recommendations for improvement.
  • Fluency with data, understanding and utilizing metrics relevant to the role, and willingness to track down data to answer key questions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express facts and ideas in a convincing and organized manner.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to learn, open to change and new information.
  • Ability to define an overall vision and series of steps to drive toward that vision. Proactively identify and manage any issues blocking forward progress.
  • Judgment to make the right trade-off decisions for the business in order to deliver projects in a high-quality manner.
