Position: Warehouse Associate-Lead
Reports To: Distribution Manager
Employee Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $22.00-$26.00 an hour
Principal Objective of Position: Handle and arrange all ground and LTL shipments. To pull correct parts/number of parts from inventory to accurately fill customer orders, company transfers and company production tickets. To package, label and process picked products for shipment.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Warehouse Manager and/or Distribution Manager. Interfaces with personnel from sales, warehouse.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Must demonstrate ability to learn use of computers system/experience preferred Must demonstrate ability to work independently.
Must demonstrate ability to prioritize and organize daily activities. Must demonstrate ability to work well with others.
Must demonstrate ability to lift and handle 70 lbs.
Attendance Requirements: Normal work hours are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be expected as order quantities fluctuate on a daily basis. Any individual absent for greater than two weeks (10 working days) in a year is subject to review and/or reprimand.
Working Conditions:
Position requires occasional use of stepladder.
Position requires occasional operation of fork-truck and other lifting equipment. Position requires high amount of physical effort at times.
Safety glasses are required. (Provided by Ace)
Steel toed shoes required. (Reimbursed up to $100.00 with receipt once full time)
Essential Functions:
1. Process all orders at time of shipment, ensuring all ground and freight orders are pulled and shipped correctly.
2. Pulls accurate parts and quantities of parts from inventory to ship:
· parts orders
· Assembly orders
· Back-orders
· Transfers
· Production tickets
3. Prioritizes sequence in which to fill orders.
4. Assists shipper in boxing parts and preparing to ship.
5. Recognizes when help will be needed to complete daily tasks.
Other Job Duties:
1. Assists in other warehouse activities as required by business conditions.
Including but not limited to packing boxes, shipping, receiving and general clean up.
