Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)

Land Surveying- Professional Land Surveying- Civil Engineering

Our client is seeking a licensed land surveyor in the state of Pennsylvania or New Jersey.  This is a full-time permanent staff role. 

Responsibilities:

• Red line As-built Drawings
• Prepare project budgets, proposals, and technical reports
• Oversee field survey, including on-site management as needed
• Review and certify completed survey work
• Schedule, plan, manage and execute multiple survey projects.
• Prepare, review, and modify topographic, cross section, boundary surveys
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Understand construction practices related to construction layout.
• Understand state and local regulations regarding surveying.
• Responsible for project schedules and completion of projects on deadlines.
• Effectively communicate information to staff, clients, and principals.

Requirements:

• Current Professional Land Survey (PLS) license in PA &/or NJ
• Professional communication with clients
• Proficiency with relevant software programs; AutoCAD Civil 3D, Total Station, GPS
• Five or more years (5) experience  
• Highly competent to accurately download, process and assess data
• Motivated to provide high quality deliverables to clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
