We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Roofing Project Manager to oversee and manage roofing projects from inception to completion. This role requires a professional with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with expertise in roofing construction and estimating. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and teams, while also performing roofing estimates for prospective projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Oversee multiple roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with contractors, crews, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Manage project logistics, including ordering materials, scheduling deliveries, and coordinating manpower.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality control.
  • Communicate with clients, providing regular project updates and resolving any concerns or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Estimating

  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for roofing projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to assess project scope and requirements.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and inspections to determine project needs and gather data for accurate estimating.
  • Provide clients with clear, detailed proposals and pricing options.
  • Work closely with sales teams to secure new business opportunities and generate bids for upcoming projects.
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive rates and maintain profit margins.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and supervise roofing teams to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Coordinate with foremen, laborers, and subcontractors to optimize crew performance.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to improve skills and knowledge.

Client Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Address any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Documentation And Reporting

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and safety reports.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Track project costs and prepare financial reports to ensure profitability.

Qualifications

  • HAAG Certified
  • Proficient in Xactimate.
  • Experienced in Steep, Fluid, and Low slope systems.
  • Multi-Family Roofing Experience.
  • Proven experience as a Roofing Project Manager, Construction Manager, or similar role in the roofing industry.
  • Strong background in roofing construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Experience with roofing estimating, including knowledge of material costs, labor, and overhead.
  • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, teams, and vendors.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Estimating (e.g., AACE) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to visit job sites and work in outdoor conditions, including exposure to weather elements.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding as needed.

Salary

$90,000-$120,000 Annually with bonus opportunities
