Brown & Brown is seeking a Student Summer Intern to join our growing team in Maitland, Florida!

The Sales Internship provides exposure and training to all aspects of a commercial insurance operation; as well as exposure and interaction with various business partners through on-site visits.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Collaborate with assigned Mentor; assisting and shadowing Production Brokers, Underwriters, and Account Executives
  • Attend weekly Young Producer meetings
  • Meet additional commitments as outlined in the “Internship Expectations and Guidelines
  • Use initiative and business acumen to assist with creating quote proposals, designing marketing materials, spreadsheet analysis, follow-up sales calls, PowerPoint presentations, walking through the full sales cycle with a current customer including in-person presentation
  • Perform thorough marketing research, support Production/Service teammates, complete required training and development tasks, and execute administrative tasks as needed

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university degree-granting program and will be enrolled in the upcoming fall semester
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
