Job Description

A contracted School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a middle school located in Reading, PA. This full-time, onsite role focuses on supporting students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development through comprehensive assessments and collaborative interventions. The position offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and access to an excellent benefits package including health coverage and a 401k plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychological evaluations addressing students cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students utilizing evidence-based techniques aimed at addressing emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Serve as a resource by offering training and guidance to school staff on mental health topics, behavior management strategies, and crisis intervention procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist license is required.
• Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field.
• Experience working in school settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong ability to assess student needs, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Commitment to promoting students well-being and academic success through collaborative support.

This role requires onsite presence throughout the academic year and encompasses full-time responsibilities within the school environment.
