Mark’s Appliance is looking for a motivated, organized individual who will field incoming phone calls from customers looking to schedule appliance service calls with our company. The ideal candidate can handle high call volumes (about 60-100 calls per-day), can work well with other team members in our service department, and has high organizational skills. In this role, the ideal candidate would be able to speak clearly and listen to our customers and schedule our customers on our RossWare Service Desk. On a busy day, the ideal candidate would be able to schedule 30 service calls on our service software.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years office experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Must be comfortable speaking on the phone

Responsibilities:

• Answering anywhere from 60-100 phone calls at your desk
• Schedule customers on our Service Desk software
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Answering a multi-line phone system with accuracy and efficiency
• Conversing with customers in a professional and friendly demeanor
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Creating and updating customer information in system software
• Other duties as needed from the Service Manager
