Job Description

Our client, an industry leader in the production of specialty filter screens for the HVAC and Air Movement Industry, is seeking a Sewing Machine Operator to join their team. As a Sewing Machine Operator, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting the production of high-quality custom manufactured products. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and possess a friendly demeanor which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sewing Machine Operator

Location: Farmington Hills, MI

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 an hour depending on experience

What's the Job?

• Operate single and double needle sewing machines to produce custom filter screens.
• Read and accurately follow production order documents to ensure quality and precision.
• Utilize basic measuring and cutting tools to prepare materials for sewing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of industrial sewing experience, with a focus on Nylon and Vinyl mesh materials.
• Ability to perform a sewing test to demonstrate skill level.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Physical capability to stand and sit for extended periods and reach across large sewing tables.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and reliable transportation to and from work.
