Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for refurbishing frac trailers and related components (including engines, pumps, transmissions, etc.) in a shop environment to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. The hours for this position are from Monday through Friday 7 am to 4 pm.

Essential Functions:

• Performs basic to moderate troubleshooting and diagnosing of equipment malfunctions and failures
• Assists in the rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining of equipment and components
• Must be able to plan equipment and component repairs
• Must be able to complete parts orders and identify parts for return
• Maintains all equipment and work areas – keeps in good, clean, and orderly condition
• Completes all documents associated with repairs promptly
• Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Works overtime as required by workload and customers’ needs
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; e.g., ProTech Technician Training Paths
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Diesel Technology schooling preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have own tools.
• Perform complex equipment assembly/disassembly correctly
• Read and work from blueprints
• Work alone with a limited amount of supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Must be a well-organized, thoughtful, and self-motivated person.
• Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail.
• Must have excellent attendance and work performance.
• Must be self-motivated with a high commitment to completing tasks promptly.
