Job Description

**Job Title:** SMT Operator

**Location:** Oldsmar / Tampa, FL

**Pay Rate:** $18-21 per hour

**Job Description:** We are seeking a diligent SMT Operator to perform surface mount assembly of printed circuit boards.

Key responsibilities include:

+ Preparing production lines and monitoring quality levels during production runs.

+ Setting up and verifying feeders, operating SMT screen printers, and ensuring ESD compliance.

+ Following ISO process sheets, handling materials, and loading reels and programs into machines.

+ Assisting in machine change-overs and maintaining department records.

+ Developing a thorough understanding of department processes.

+ Conducting visual inspections to ensure correct component placement and logging defects.

+ Managing non-conforming materials and communicating equipment or program issues to relevant support teams.

+ Performing additional duties as assigned.

**Job Type:** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months on contract then perm.

**Work Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM- Second shift

**Pay Rate:** $18-21 per hour

**Work Site:** This is a fully on-site position located in Oldsmar (Tampa) Florida.

**Work Environment:** The work environment is indoors and climate-controlled, within a busy, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
