Primary Responsibilities:
Query and analyze complex medical and behavioral healthcare data to perform data analysis on Mental Health Parity requests
Use claims and membership data to support medical behavioral integration and total cost of care analyses
Perform quality assurance on all codes, processes, and reports
Provide support on scheduled monthly production runs
Provide adhoc reporting and analysis as needed
Work closely with business partners to understand reporting requirements and data needs
Develop andor enhance scripts and processes to automate repetitive tasks, data collection or reporting
Document methodologies and processes

Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as a programmer using BASE SAS, SAS/Proc SQL, and SAS/Macros
3+ years of experience with developing/writing code using SQL queries
2+ years of working with large volumes of data preferably healthcare data, such as authorizations or claims
Intermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and vlookups
Proven ability to quickly learn and efficiently use new software tools
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proven ability to thrive in team environment
Proven solid verbal and written communication skills

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
