Job Duties and Responsibilities

We offer opportunities to make significant, visible contributions to a high-growth, startup-type business within a sound Fortune 250 company. Our purpose is to safeguard company assets and produce timely, accurate, actionable financial information – while participating in the design and implementation of new systems, creating efficiencies, and developing strategies for executing across the Wireless buildout business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare entries to accounts (GL and Subledger) documenting business transactions
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Develop solutions to capture financial data for unique business transactions
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis on Wireless buildout costs, and other initiatives as assigned
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve process
  • Prepare financial results and reports (monthly and quarterly) for leadership

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master’s degree a plus (Finance and related fields may be considered)
  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced accounting environment, preferably in a technology business

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A working knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, procedures, and standards (journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis)
  • Demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations and ability to synthesize data into concise analysis
  • Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and proficience with ERP systems (Oracle Financials or equivalent)
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written presentation skills, and an ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable, clear, effective communications
  • CPA, or equivalent qualification a plus

This role will be onsite in Englewood, CO 


Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
