Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a hospital surgical unit in NJ, requiring circulating experience in multiple specialties and a current NJ or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Circulate in orthopedics, spine, robotics, and general surgery cases
• Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted for this assignment
• Uses Epic EMR, with prior experience preferred
• Must be able to circulate for a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, spine, robotics, and general surgery
• Modules to be completed onsite during orientation; modules are recorded via transcripts
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto approved, and no time off is permitted the first week of orientation

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active NJ or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• 1-2 years of recent OR circulating RN experience in the listed specialties
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Former permanent staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
