Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic medical x-rays and various laboratory-testing procedures. The ideal candidate will be proficient in x-ray techniques and follow the outlined protocols. This role also involves performing phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic medical x-rays following proper techniques.
Conduct laboratory-testing procedures in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry.
Perform phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procedures.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in diagnostic x-ray techniques.
Experience in laboratory testing procedures.
Phlebotomy skills.
Ability to follow detailed protocols and procedures.
Strong attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's degree.
Graduation from a Radiology program (RT or BMO).
CPR certification.
Florida Department of Health License (RT or BMO), Certified Radiologic Technologist License, or Basic Machine Operators License for X-Ray.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
1 year of experience with x-ray in a healthcare setting.
Spanish-English proficiency.
Work Environment
This role is 100% onsite in the lab. The position reports to the Lab Manager. This is a permanent role from day one with benefits, a supportive team culture, and cross-training opportunities for the lab role provided.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $51979.20 - $62275.20/yr.
