Compensation: Hourly rate depends on YOE

8K Sign On Bonus & Relocation based on mileage: (100-299 mi- $2k, 300-499 mi-- $3k, 500-699-- $5k, 700-999--$7k, 1000+-- $10k)

Must Haves:
New grad or 1 year of X-Ray experience
ARRT cert in any state (no LMRT) or registry eligible to take ARRT IF A NEW GRAD (can work for 6 months to obtain license)

Day to Day:
The Radiologic Technologist performs Diagnostic Imaging with quality technique and positioning for Radiologist interpretation of imaging for diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries. Each shift begins with team huddles to discuss handoffs from the previous shift and coordinate with the new team. Each shift has a team lead. You have to ability to self-motivate the Tech Worklist to prioritize routine and/or stat exams for a variety of patients, including those in diagnostic, emergency department (ED), inpatient, outpatient, and transplant cases. You will not be involved in operating room (OR) procedures.

X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment are utilized to assist Radiologists in procedure is dedicated to the Radiologic Technologist working the Fluoroscopy suite.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures
• Protects patient, self, and other staff from radiation hazards
• Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients and includes implementing infection control procedures for the work area
• Selects proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis. Adjusts/sets radiographic controls
• Position’s patients and takes x-rays of specific parts of the patient’s body as requested by physicians
• Develop and process radiographic film. Checks x-rays for clarity of image, retaking when needed
