About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer to play a pivotal role in the strategic development and execution of HR initiatives that align with the business's growth plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading the HR function, designing and owning the compensation strategy, and implementing career advancement programs. This role requires a strong focus on talent management, including the attraction, recruitment, development, engagement, motivation, and retention of employees. The Chief People Officer will also be instrumental in integrating an employee engagement approach into the HR strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant employment regulations. Applicants for the Chief People Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in HR management, with a Bachelor's degree in HR or finance, and a Master's degree in HR preferred. Familiarity with California labor law is essential. The role demands excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to partner effectively with peers and manage relationships at all levels. A broad knowledge of HR functions, including employment, compensation, benefits, organizational planning, and development, is required. The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record of active involvement in professional HR organizations and be bilingual in English and Spanish.
