About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief People Officer (CPO) to join their executive leadership team. The CPO will be a strategic partner, responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals, culture, and values. This includes overseeing all aspects of talent management, from acquisition to retention, and fostering a diverse, inclusive, and innovative workplace. The successful candidate will also be instrumental in driving DEI initiatives, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and managing the HR budget and resources effectively. Candidates for the CPO role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree or HR certifications preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of progressive leadership experience in HR, with at least 5 years' in a senior role, is required, ideally within a credit union or financial institution. The role demands a strong understanding of credit union operations, organizational development, and financial services regulations. The CPO will be expected to lead change management, implement strategic initiatives, and drive organizational transformation, while also possessing exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
