Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our team. As a Permanent Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical construction projects, from start to finish. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of electrical construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that project goals are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure that all work is being performed to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee the work of subcontractors and other vendors, ensuring that they are meeting project requirements and deadlines.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular progress reports to project managers and other stakeholders, highlighting any issues or concerns that may impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and that projects are completed within budget.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams of subcontractors and other vendors.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred, but not required.
