About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior or Executive Director for Medical Affairs with a focus on nephrology. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of cross-functional product and disease strategies, providing strategic direction, and overseeing evidence generation activities. This role involves pre-launch planning, capturing insights in the therapy area, and supporting the development of the medical affairs team. The candidate will also be expected to build partnerships with the medical community, support US market access strategy, and collaborate with various functional areas in a compliant manner. Applicants must have an MD or DO with certification in nephrology, at least 3 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience, and a strong network within the global nephrology community. The role demands a leader with excellent clinical judgment, organizational abilities, and a high level of credibility. The ideal candidate will have a broad strategic mindset, be patient-centric, and have the ability to lead, train, and mentor team members.
