Job Description

A private family of five in Miami Beach is seeking a full-time Housekeeper/Cook to join their household team. The family has recently relocated and is in the process of building a long-term, reliable staff. This is a hands-on role for an experienced, self-directed professional who takes pride in maintaining a well-run home.

The household includes three young children; however, all childcare is handled by dedicated caregivers. This position focuses exclusively on household management, cleaning and cooking.

Responsibilities include:

• Full-charge housekeeping of a private residence, including daily cleaning, deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organization
• Maintaining household systems, supplies, and inventories
• Basic, healthy meal preparation for the family (primarily simple breakfasts, lunches, and dinners; no formal entertaining required)
• Kitchen management, including cleaning, food storage, and grocery organization
• Communicating directly with the principals regarding household needs and priorities
• Coordinating with other household staff as the team grows

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a private home in a similar role with verifiable references
• Strong housekeeping skills with attention to detail
• Comfortable preparing healthy, family meals
• Discreet, professional, and trustworthy
• Able to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Long-term mindset and interest in growing with the family

Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience (DOE)
