We are seeking a skilled mid-level JavaScript / React Developer to join our team. This remote position will focus on building and maintaining web applications that directly support the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will have experience in modern web development, with a passion for user-centered design and clean, maintainable code.

This position requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for Public Trust Clearance, with a preference for candidates who already have VA clearance.

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
• Stay current with modern web development trends and best practices
• Work within an Agile environment, using tools such as JIRA to manage tasks and workflows

• 3+ years of professional experience in JavaScript/React development
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 , and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with Redux , Node.js , and Express is a plus
• Strong knowledge of responsive design and UI frameworks such as Material UI or Bootstrap
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and cloud platforms (AWS, Docker, etc.)
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for Public Trust Clearance
• VA clearance preferred but not required
