Job Description

Come and join a team that is second to none! The Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa Lab is seeking a full time Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team!

These individual’s primary function will be to perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and some clerical functions.

Hours:

• Shift will rotate weekly between the hours 6:30 AM and 5:00PM.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail required. Must have excellent work ethic and customer service skills and must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. 



• Ability to multitask is key to being successful in this role. 



• The successful candidate must maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times.



• The qualified individual will be patient focused, possess excellent communication skills, and must work well with team members.



• Must also have a high level of comfort and become proficient in utilizing computer systems including electronic medical record system. 



• Prefer an individual with 2-3 years similar experience with an emphasis on performing phlebotomies preferred.
