ATOMS Placement Services , a boutique recruitment firm specializing in the placement of STEM educators, is currently seeking High School Physics Teachers for the 2026‑2027 school year at independent schools in the Los Angeles area. Responsibilities Adopt innovative pedagogies, discussion-based learning, and project-based learning. Differentiate instruction based on students’ learning styles. Promote an inclusive classroom environment. Attend department and faculty meetings. Subscribe to the school’s mission and philosophy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physics (or related subject) is required; advanced degree(s) preferred. Minimum of 1‑3 years of teaching experience, ideally at the K‑12 level. Desire to collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment. Interest in contributing to the school community outside of the classroom, as an athletic coach, student advisor, club leader, etc. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills. Compensation & Benefits Compensation and benefit packages will vary by school, and will typically depend on geographical location, experience, and level of degree.
